Path of Exile will be available on next generation consoles, sharing the same client. In terms of the changes, initially they will be running in backwards compatibility mode, which will see some benefit of the new hardware (i.e SSD). We intend to support the native implementations of these system at a later time.

" Backward compatibility mode ? They dont even run in current compatibility mode now, so youre saying that a better GPU and better CPU will kepp us with the laggy, crashy, soundless (for some) POE ? How badly made is this game ? I love this game, but do you seriously not expect your player base to drop off a cliff with your statement, when your players see the game wont run any better next gen ? POE could of literally had the next gen console monopoly for ARPG's had you actually shown the game running like a PC version on NG hardware, but you appear to of taken the laziest stance possible. Dont even know why I'm surprised anymore, the lack of respect you show console players who financially supported you is unpleasant to say the least. |
