NPC should sell crafting items
I hit a wall and can't craft an good armor. Got many exalted orbs, but (almost)no one is selling faceted fossil.
Since in this game the most items they aren't dropped, they're looted... why not? I'm not playing for months, just doing the daily login to get the master missions... In that case only Niko would sell them, and the cost would be Azurite not Exalted Orbs. This one was once sold that way (1,000,000 Azurite). He does sell the resonators, but you gotta find the fossils yourself. Either way you end up in the mine.
That particular fossil is incredibly rare, you need to have a fossil node, hidden behind a wall, that node must be within Magma Fissure. That is the only place they can drop from the research I've done. I've yet to find one personally, I'm at depth 400 and I've done double that going to the sides at 250ish looking for fun stuff to explore. The deeper you get, the higher the chances should be, on SSF I just personally don't have enough resources to keep looking for one. This league you don't really need them tho, you can use the garden to get most of that due to trial and error. Chances are the one fossil you find, isn't going to do what you need it to. |

Thank you for the reply, but I was looking to make a good armor on softcore.
In craft of exile I need around 30 of this fossil, and I need better gear since I'm on high level and can't do Alva on red maps with ES build... and life build is too weak with witch... And I can't craft an good armor without this fossil. The price on Niko is ridiculous and almost no one sells them in the server. And if they sell, last time I checked, they're selling for 10 times the price... Your post in the 'X' thread has been removed for breaching the following clauses of the Code of Conduct:

" I can’t think of a single build that absolutely needs gem levels in a chest. Especially if you’re just trying to be able to do red maps |

Well, I followed the guides. But my damage wasn't good enough to make Alva properly on red maps with ES build.
With HP build I got good damage, but horrible survival. A good armor should fix my offensive problems on ES; in HP build there's no way I can get good survival (9k~10k HP... I barely got 5,9k). I take many HP nodes, but I can't progress any further... And the main problem is the items. Can't buy a good armor because there's no one selling; can't craft due to the lack of materials... " 5.9k hp is a good amount of life, that’s how much how much most endgame builds have. You should look into other defensive layers other than just increasing your life pool. |

I just can't hit lv100 since I die too much, in the most parts I have no idea why ("random explosions").
Got 90% physical, 76% fire and the others 75% resists. Also "steelskin" with "cast when damage taken". And go to 75% to 90% on elemental resistance is not a possibility, unless they made new gems/items or change some of the actual ones. Also, frequently I take damage before the animations - don't know if the game is this way or micro lagging in the server is what's killing me. Anyway, thank you for the feedback :) Your post in the 'X' thread has been removed for breaching the following clauses of the Code of Conduct:

" That’s pretty much the bare minimum. I suggest using a low Low level immortal call instead of steel skin. Works much better. Link it with increase duration if you have the gem slots. If you want to push to level 100 you’re going to need more than the bare minimum defences. Leech, lots of life regen, block, health on block, dodge, evasion, high physical damage reduction, divine flesh. There’s many different options depending on what works best with your build but I suggest leech /regen as a bare minimum(you probably already have) and at least two of the listed defensive layers. There’s more to consider than just max resists and high life pool. Also if you can link fortify onto one of your skills that would help a lot Last edited by HC9919#9458 on Sep 3, 2020, 10:41:58 PM

Divine flesh looks interesting, specially because the most part of my deaths are due to elemental damage (huge fireball guided and glacial spikes from delve).
But the other ideas I doubt I can use, since I play golem and don't attack (no endure charges most of the time, I only curse high life monster or bosses). I can use extra gem slots if needed, but I feel steelskin protecting more than immortal call, since my life pool is too low. In my ES build I got 8,7k ES, is very reasonable... and is possible to hit 9,5k~10k if I get better equipment. I don't have leech, but I got very good regen (I think) provided by golem lv24 (something around 900~1200/HP sec. Is really painful get the items when you change the build :P Thanks for the ideas :) Your post in the 'X' thread has been removed for breaching the following clauses of the Code of Conduct:

" I SSF, everything I find or make is my own. Pushing to 100 right now (wow it takes forever) You don't need them, and chances are the 30 wont even get what you need. There's always other ways to roll it too. I'm sitting at 10.7k ES atm. 0 Fossils, just Harvest. All the dense fossils I tried (50) hit horrible rolls, the garden hooked me up. Really gonna miss it next league :( To learn from deaths, do a video capture when you die. Go back and watch what happened. There's a lot of unique mechanics that will 1 shot you even at 11k ES. Detonate dead is the one to learn and I wish I'd learned sooner. Red spikes, look relatively harmless, but they will delete you. |
