Build Help - Fireball - Mgm Orb- Spellslinger Trickster

Greetings All,

I copied this build from another player / credits to him in the YT link.

I hope it works, this is the first time I attempted to share a build. I feel like I am not progressing anymore and that I have some key problems with my build that I am not recognizing. For example, Fireball is my main skill and it's on my six link chest but I do not have enough mana to add more support gems (too much reserved but my mana pool is higher than the build that i copied from).

The highest maps I have ran so far are t9. all my skill gems and gear are max quality / lvl. I have some expensive pieces and some cheap ones in the gear. I have currency to get better gear but not sure what to get.

I feel like my defense is ok, but that I should be hitting way harder.

A big extra bonus request is could someone let me know what the green projectiles are that he is firing with his Fireball WOC Spellslinger here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJOEYC4hHrc

I guess spellslinger builds are too difficult for you atm. It is not an easy build . Your gear, skill gems, and passive tree are all over the place. I'd highly recommend you look for a complete guide, not just PoB. To be honest, I don't think Trickstar is the best choice.

You should get rid of herald of ash to use the following gems:
spellslinger - fireball - elemental focus - inspiration - controlled destruction - (awakened) fork or concentrated effect
spellslinger - magma orb - inspiration - combustion
frenzy - inspiration - curse on hit - flammability

You can use herald of ash if you take some reduced mana reservation from the passive tree or helm enchant, but I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Your attack speed is too high and you're not triggering fireball every time you attack with frenzy. You have to reduce your attack speed or get increased cooldown recovery speed.

I'm not sure if magma orb is worth it. To me wave of conviction makes more sense since it increases damage dealt by fireball, while magma orb doesn't.

There are a lot more, but I'm stopping here.

BTW, the green projectiles are frenzy. You are using it, too, right?
