Allow us to use skin swap MTX between sceptres and maces and vice versa

Sceptres are a weapon subcategory of a mace. That is a fact.
Why are we not allowed to use the MTX swap between them if they are essentially the same weapon, just with different possible rolls? Allow us to swap the skins freely between them.
