Uber Elder

Well after playing for probably 4-6 hours basically every day of 3.10 I finally got a single chance at uber elder. (I played about the same during 3.9 and only got one attempt)

We all know the fragments should be able to be horizon orbed into different fragments (from the same set) but GGG don't want us to play the content so that isn't the case.

Anyway, off I got to get that sweet watchers eye loot.

Portal 1: dysnc death within (no exaggeration) 3 seconds. OK bad start nvm.

Portal 2: beam dysnc death.

Portal 3: screen went completely blank for 1 second. Dead.

Portal 4: my bad. Dead.

Portal 5: oh back to dync deaths. Dead

Portal 6: yeah nah what just happened I just fell over?


We are only allowed to do this fight once every 3 months, the fight does not work and it will likely be another 3 months until I get to attempt the fight again. At this point I can't even remember the mechanics so I'll probably die 6 times again.

Am I the only person that thinks it is pointless to create content that is so inaccessible for the vast majority of players?

Anyway I'm done for the league at this point. I'll take my Headhunter and my 3 passive voices drops back to standard for the unique tab and be salty. Hopefully crafting farmville acid trip league will be a little more rewarding in the right places and a lot less restrictive towards other league content.

It’s easier to initiate the fight now more than ever. You can buy shards now. Back in my day it was hell to get to the fight.

If the solution is to buy shards from other players, then it is definitely not designed well.
