RAM for poe

So I just upgraded my pc with an SSD instead of an HDD and I feel like I live in the future. Now I am wondering should I get more ram for poe fps not to drop so hard during mapping? currently I have an 8gb and thinking about adding 8gb more since it ain't expensive..

gpu probably more important

i play the x64 version with 8GB just fine on win7,
