Glass Cannon Pyroclast Mine Help

Hello everyone, at the beginning of the league i started to play a pyroclast mine from a youtuber called ESORO.
The build it self is pretty good, but i have spent 60+ ex. and still a glass cannon... i read on the comments of that video that i have to improve my ES (till 8k. at least) to be a really end game build... i would be glad if someone who is doing a similar build give me some advise or what to improve to have more survivavility...

That said, I don't understand why you believe 8k ES with (auto-aiming) mines is an glass cannon?
