Need help with build

I have spent a ton of currency this league but I feel like I should be getting more dps and a bit more life? If anyone could take a look at my MistWalkeryeeet build I'd really appreciate it. Its the Ranger build on my profile. I'm thinking some tree changes may help but I'm not sure which changes need made.

Or not lol.... I swear this forum is only good for people that complain, someone gets on here asking for legit help and its crickets!

Hey, I checked out your build and it looks pretty good to me, but take this all with a grain of salt, this is my first season really getting into the game. The only thing that sticks out as potentially being an issue is the lack of chaos resistance, I find that you run in to a lot of chaos damage as you get into deeper mapping. I am kind of at the same point as you on my main Vortex Occultist, I have mostly like the best possible uniques I could be wearing and the only way to upgrade is for like perfectly rolled rares, which can get extremely pricey.

Chaos res isnt nearly as important as other res. Plus I get a nice boost of chaos res from my flask.

I'm pretty sure changing my gloves will help, I just need to check my stash for a pair of Influenced gloves to craft on.

I was more worried about the tree, maybe it could be modified to squeeze out more life, my dps is allowing to do all the content but I can't finish Siris due to my health.

I do have jewels to stop the corrupted blood debuff but either way, I cant survive the whole fight.

Disclaimer: I only looked at your tree and your gear/gems. I'm not a duffer having played on PS4 since the game released, but I'm also not a super expert by any means. I only noticed two things, both of which I might be overlooking something obvious. Number one is only worth mentioning because I noticed it. Number two, however, could be worth looking into, although, again, I might have missed something. Note also, I can't see your cluster gems so I've no idea what's going on down there.

1) Disregard. You have whispers of doom anointed. That's the second curse.

2) I am assuming your single target damage is Barrage. Everything linked to barrage increases cold damage, but from what I can see, you're only converting 52 percent of phys to cold when you barrage. If you could convert it all, that would increase the effectiveness of your EDWAS and Elemental Focus supports to my understanding. (Ice shot converts 60 percent to cold on it's own, so when you ice shot you're converting everything which doesn't matter that much anyway because it's a clear skill and with that gear, you're blasting everything into oblivion anyway.)

2a) A potential solution to this would be to change out of barrage into a second ice shot as your single target skill and link the barrage support to it, but you'd have to drop another support. If you went this route, you'd have to fool around with path of building to figure out which support would be ideal to sub out. I can't tell just from looking. My initial thought would be icebite because it's the only one that doesn't offer "more" damage instead of increased and you can't freeze anyway because of elemental focus, but I can't be sure.

Sorry. I spent all that time replying above and didn't read the whole thread. :(

A couple of ideas for this:

1) If you're rich enough, you could anoint constitution instead of whispers of doom....although this would mean that you lose the ability to apply two curses and you have two curses on hit with the gear.

2) If you're using a cluster gem with a socket, you could look into getting a small cluster with fettle.

EDIT 3) Final thought although I don't know how much it would help. You could dump the Heartseeker wheel (3 points), the regen node below Vaal Pact (1 point...you shouldn't need it with Soul Raker anyway) and 1 point out of either the Lethality or Longshot wheel. This would get you five points back which you could use to go into Revenge of the Hunted. That's the only life thing you're near that you don't seem to already have. Would cost you about 100 crit and some leech if you dropped another crit node off lethality which is how I'd go. In the exchange you'd get increased evasion, 16% life, and some extra phys. If you're evasion capped though, this would definitely be a losing proposition.

I suspect that you might get more help. if your build was posted in a "path of building" link. It just makes it so much easier to pinpoint and troubleshoot for problems. Using the web skill tree seems neanderthal in comparison, once you start using POB, and you never wanna look at the web tree ever again afterwards.

Do yourself a huge favor and install it. I suggest you get the fork version.

Thanks for the replies fellas. I have POB installed but I'm posting from my phone. I will tinker with it some more but at this point I'm thinking the gloves need changed for sure and im likely going to have to simply switch builds to do all content unless I make some drastic changes.

I was looking at the fork options but when I drop a fork in my dps drops considerably.
