Simulacrum splinters

Is it just my impression or has the simulacrum splinters drop rate being lowered by a lot since the last patch?

I'm getting a lot more now with all the visibility changes. Pre-patch my record was 5 with a full map clear, now it's 7 with like a little more than a third of a Castle Ruins.
Need a new signature, cuz name change. I dunno though. I guess this seems fine. Yeah, this is good.
