Do the order matter for link sockets?

If you have a B=R=R=B. Will the blue support gem still support the blue skill? or do they have to be next to each other?

"as long as they are all linked it doesnt matter the order. if you have multiple skills in a cast while channeling of a cast on crit the order does indeed matter though. |
