Keeping track of completed maps?

Is this something I need to buy the map stash tab for... kinda time consuming filtering in the atlas back and forth from inventory to see what maps I need to run. Almost tempted to make an excel file to track it all. Pushing further than ever and honestly getting lost on my efficiency..

Or maybe I just run all maps? Idk. Lol

This is certainly an issue for console players. PC players have a "trick" they can do in order to open up both their Atlas screen and their Stash tab at the same time. We can't do that on console.

And, yes, I got tired of having to go back and forth with the Atlas tab and then my Map Stash tab too... A better phrase would be "Friggin' Annoyed."

And, the new Atlas system compounds upon this effect. Yay! :/

Here's a message for the devs, just so they get to experience the joy of Atlas progression and the lack of a sensible system that gives much-needed information to the player about what the heck they need to do:

Every. Single. Time. I. Wanted. To. Attempt. To. Progress. I. Had. To. Stop. Progressing. Just. So. I. Could. Attempt. To. Try. To. Figure. Out. What. The. F. I. Should. Do. I. Had. To. Jump. Between. Several. Screens. And. Actions. In. Order. To. Attempt. To. Make. Sense. Out. Of. It.
Spoiler
And. Then. I. Would. Accidentally. Close. The. Atlas. Screen. And. Would. Have. To. Start. The. Process. All. Over. Again.
Just. So. I. Could. Figure. Out. I. Did. Not. Have. The. Map. I. Needed. In. Order. To. Progress. And. Then. Everyone. Died. And. Became.

Zombies. And. Started. Chewing. On. My Head. So. I. Had. To. Leave. To. Go. To. The.
Store. To. Buy. An. Axe. Just. So. I. Could. Come. Back. Home. And. Fight. The. Zombies. And. Be. Able. To. Start. The. Whole. Process. Over. Again. Every. Single. Time. I wanted. To. Attempt. To Progress. I. Had. To....

Hey OP! You got your wish!

(Well, we got our wish!)

"Maps now display their Atlas Region by default. Holding L3 displays Map Completion, Bonus Objective Completion and Awakening Objective Completion status.

Added frames to the Map Stash which indicate if a Map is influenced by a Conqueror."

!!!!

YAY!

PS - I haven't checked in-game, yet, but it looks like they've tried to tackle the issue. :)

It works, I noticed last night. The added color to the corner of the map edge in the map tab is great, it's color coded so you can glance quickly and see color edges on the corner (not the round map below, the map square in the tab) to see who it's influenced by. I spawned Baran last night, went to my map stash tab and see red corners on maps in the tiers I have them. Awesome!

So now it's as easy as spawning the Conqueror at the proper tier to get influence, then find lower tiers for the 2nd and third taunt stage by color! Easy and a HUGE QOL improvement.

I'll say it's BETTER than having the map region name, as that makes you do the klunky search in console. Color coding influence on the map squares allows you to find the invluenced region at a glance without typing anything, they are all there. Well done GGG!

Thank you for the replies. I ended up purchasing the map tabs as well in efforts to get this to work better. But was definitely happy to to read those patch notes. Of course I go and RIP day after the patch. Lol
