Good on you GGG, Killer of Axes and by extension, melee itself

Just wanted to stop by and thank you for uterrly eviserating axes, who by all means are totally dookied on by every single other type of melee weapon by about 350% and obviously every other weapon! Good on you for making it a point of your careers to exclaim that melee has no home in poe, and no where to lay its head, it is 2020 for gods sakes, it is barbaric to use single combat hand to hand weapons! GOOD ON YOU GGG, for making sure to nerf any little bit of of additional physical damage added to melee because aoe clearing an entire screen and strength/dex stacking 1 trillion damage whilst having 30k+ es on every other type of build but melee is only right, hey i just wanted to thank you for making sure these cornball melee players dont get the idea that they have any place in this gane because the day that happens, is the day poe enters the trashbin of arpg's! Hey ggg, GOOD ON YOU!

I'm running slayer cyclone with a 6l vaal axe with hcbe and 6l carcass, roughly 80 ex in gear and I gotta say.. you're not wrong. I noticed my cycloner went to shit a few patches back :( still clears good but the single target dps was trashed and that makes me deeply sad.

On another note, no character I've tried since then is coming anywhere near to my cycloners clearspeed or survivability..

Hey GGG, if you hate melee so much than why don't you just remove it from the game & be done with it already

Yeah cyclone is a very good skill to use, & about the single-target dps i personally use cleave

2h Axe is the new "Stat Stick" right? :)

An "Exquisite Blade" level 2h Axe is what's needed. But, there are still some pretty darn nice ones out there. For straight up physical DPS, though, it's hard to get away from 2h Swords.
