Computer help anyone?

It was working for years then all of a sudden it like just freezes just like that and it won't respond the mouse is still moving and such but the only way to ''fix'' it temporary is to reset the computer forcefully is it hardware issues? Software? Haalp

Probably would need more info.

It could be either, unless you are noticing the same things across multiple software applications (which would suggest a hardware issue)

I would do the standard fixes like driver and operating system updates first.

Could be memory, graphics card, or hard drive if not software.

I had something similar a couple of years back. In my case was the gpu that was over heating and the system "froze" or sometimes reseted.

Try the things that darthski said. Start with software by updating drivers/os see if u have any virus. And then monitor ur temperature to see if something is over heating. If all is good run some memory test and hd scan disk.
