Can't apply "No Aura Effect" to Flesh and Stone

I bought this MTX to remove the big yellow circle around my character in Sand Stance. I can't even apply it to Flesh and Stone despite it being tagged as an "Aura" gem, and it being the one that needs it the most due to the size of the ring it creates.
