Ancestral Projector unique ring not working on Xbox

So i wound up getting the ring i wanted to make my character around and it doesn't allow me to lock on to enemies. Just casts my spells at max distance even when a mob is in my face.

Summon skeleton has the same annoying issue.

I assume he's talking about astral projector. It doesn't give nova spells console auto-targetting, but you can aim with the joystick. If you hold the joystick all the way down (like you would with auto targetting spells) it will cast at max range, but if you move the joystick partially it will cast closer. Is the lack of console autotargetting with astral projector intended ?

I really like the skeletons that way. I wish there was a third middle distance you could cast though. They feel way more like minions when you aren't just spawning them in a circle around your target.
