Skill Points

I’ve leveled up to eighth level and haven’t spent any skill points yet. I’m trying for a straight archer build. Any suggestions on where to spend my points?

If you're new to the game, I'd suggest the following:
- check a few videos how various bow builds look like (there's no such thing as "generic archer" there are a few distinct playstyles with different skills)
- when you find a skill / build that looks good to you, find a well written guide for it (not just one that pastes top end gear and skills with no explanation, something more robust and newbie friendly)
- follow that guide and ask questions in the thread if needed

POE can be a bit confusing at a start, and there are lots of different approaches to a build, there isn't one build anyone can tell you "this is the best bow build, play it".
