Lootfilters for console

So I heard we will be able to upload lootfilters at homepage which we then can use on consoles. Can someone touch on that how that will work and how to do it. Or is this untrue?

Hey dude I spent a few hours working it out the other day. It is a ball ache and not really optimised for console in any way.

Log into your account on the PoE website, bottom right of your account page is a link that says "item filters" click that and follow the onscreen instructions. You can create a custom loot filter on neversinks website.

The thing you need to do is go out and buy a PC so that you can easily edit huge text files. My phone obviously has a character limit for copy and paste because it won't allow me to copy all due to the size of the file.

You can look at the list of filters on the PoE website and use one of those but it isn't really "custom" filters as we were promised. Doing it this way the text is already input and you can just save it and you're ready to rock (when it launches with 3.9 I guess as it doesn't currently show in game). I have no idea why I can sign in using my Sony (PoE account) on the NS website but it doesn't have the same feature of the text already being input. You're required to enter it and you will spend more time doing that than any loot filter would save you.
Sweet! Thanks!
Did a step by step write up on Friday - https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2687449. Note that we can not view this in game until 3.9 launches for us.
