EA 3.9 Build Plan

Ignite Calculation:

6264.6 ignite damage
7.08 attacks per second
10 totems (3 base, 2 ascend, 2 tree, 1 quiver, 2 support)
10 Arrows (1 base, 3 barrage, 2 dying sun, 1 corrupt, 1 corrupt, 2 rain of splinters)
Skill Effect Duration: 148%; 2.48 second delay explosion.

7.08 aps / (1 + 0.05 barrage penalty * 10 arrows) * 10 arrows * 10 totems * 2.48 skill effect duration = 1170 hits in explosion window, which count towards ignite

100% hit chance, 100% ignite chance

1170 hits in window * 6264.6 ignite damage * [1170 hits in windoow * 0.03 more damage per ignite] = 257,268,328 Shaper dps, not even counting Skitterbots shock.

Yes, increased duration support is technically more damage ~278m, but 2.48s + totem place time is already an atrocity.



Utilizes 3.9 tree, so LocalIdentity1's Fork will not show all nodes taken. Heavily abuses EA's 3% more multiplier per ignite rolled on each fuse prior to explosion. This allows IAS modifiers to trump most other damage nodes. 10 arrows, 10 totems, still do damage to apply exposure with Wave of Conviction. This is ultimately a meme stack towards damage that isn't necessary, and from the template its pretty easy to see how to get 200% life and more armor for 30 second Vaal Molten Shell.

I'm only sharing this because no one will see it anyway and I want to have a good laugh if EA dies before its released. The playstyle will be absolute cancer anyway, even with LD GMP swaps. While some may consider the gear to be ambitious, the fact that links are not required on the QR, makes this ridiculously budget. When supported by an aurabot with Haste, Anger, and Malevolence, there is potential to cross the threshold of a billion Shaper damage. That last line of text on the rework was a mistake.

Yup, but it turns out the flat fire on EA is not going to be halved, and the current POB does halve it due to Blast Rain serving as a placeholder for EA explosion calculation. It must be doubled to 1044-1566 fire.

Fortunately, the final nail in the coffin may be the hard fuse cap Rory or Mark was discussing implementing in their replies to questions on reddit.

Current calc after updating to 3.9 is:

10,029.5 ignite damage
6.63 attacks per second
10 totems
10 arrows
2.68 second delay explosion (20% inc dur is revealed on gem)
.38 Ignite Multiplier from Barrage new penalty

6.63 / ( 1.5 ) * 10 * 10 * 2.68 = 1184 hits in window

100% hit chance, 100% ignite chance

1184 * 10,029.5 * [1184 * 0.03 * 0.38 new penalty] = 160,283,028 damage.

Still pretty okay, especially since Rory also leaked that the current EA doesnt care where the fuses come from (including other players) when determining the single explosion. Still reasonably exploitable, until the hard cap of like 100 or something rolls around.

For all intents and purposes, build dead. Mission accomplished.

It is a little different in that the goal is attacking, and then having totems as a supplement to apply as many fuses in a 1.4 second window (much more practical delay as well) to scale the ignites provided by the main attack.

I'll blitz out the calcs:
5.25 * 7 / 1.35 * 1.4 = hits/window of 110
73037.5 * 110 * [110 * 0.03] * 0.38 = new damage of 10 million when not placing totems

using totems with aim of just applying fuses with near 0 damage ignites:
15.16 * 7 / 1.35 * 1.4 + 15.16/2 * 6 * 13 / 1.65 * 1.4
hits/window
110 + 501 fuses
110 * 73037.5 * [ ( 110 + 501 ) * 0.03] * 0.38 = new damage 55.96 million when placing totems

Its more practical with ignite proliferation, and could easily slot carcass jack as well instead of daressos for more AOE to the explosion and proliferation radius. It doesn't need a corrupted QR, just a shaper quiver, dying sun and rain of splinters. Overall, much less of a meme and something that genuinely scares me if allowed to persist.

I would wait until we know fuse cap. It could be like 50 for all we know since GGG still hasn't posted it anywhere.
