Marketplace Prices sky rocket in 1 day? Will they go back down?

My question(s) are at the end....

Yesterday I spent a lot of time on the market place buying Orbs of Fusing (for well-conneceted (which I didn't get :( lol)). I ended up spending 11 exalted orbs and 450 chaos orbs. I already had about 500 orbs of fusing saved up to begin with.

Through out the day, I was very easily buying, on average, 100 Orbs of Fusing for 1 exalted. I know how many exalts and chaos i started the day with (11 and 450). I wrote down how many Fusing I used yesterday (2,140). So i know for sure that I was getting about 100 fusing for 1 ex. Not to mention it was only yesterday and I actually remember getting about 100 fusing for about 1 ex lol.

Got some more currency today and decided to buy some more Fusing. ALL of my offers are being rejected and people are asking for double what they were selling for yesterday. Every single offer. I've tried around 10-15 different listings. Now people want 2 ex for 100 Fusing. The latest one, I offered 2 ex for 193 Fusing and guy wrote back "4bro". It's been like that for all my offers today.

Here's my question: Is that normal? Will the price go back down? I haven't spent this much time on the market place before and ever noticed anything like this happening. Will the asking price keep going up? Level off? Should I buy now for 100 fusing for 2ex? Or should I wait, if the asking price goes back down?

It's most likely a single entity selling stacks of 100 orbs. Once they realized someone (that is, you) has high interest and enough capital, they decided to put the proverbial thumbscrews on said someone (that is, you) to milk said someone (again, you) completely dry.

Tldr: Sadly, it's a sellers market on consoles and the developers don't seem to care about the fact that less players means less items farmed means less options to customize builds means less possible builds which all equal to disappointed players.

Let's see if they adress any console issues during Exilecon. I wouldn't hold my breath.

If you have premium tabs you should just put your chaos up for fuses. I've sold pretty near a thousand this league buying a stack of chaos for a stack of fuses. That's half the price you paid.

I had 2500 jewelers, converted to fusings.

Spent 2000 jewelers, 600 fusings, 600 chromatics.

End result, one 6 linked 3r-3b with 1234 armor and 146 life and 10% increased life! And a happier templar!

Good luck, when GGG says things are going away, the price will skyrocket.
I never even checked trade because I didn't have the currency.
Glad I sell all those 6 sockets now!
