Upgrading towers in Blight League PS4!

Could someone please explain to me how you upgrade your towers on Blight League on PS4? It is pretty easy on PC but on PS4 I have yet to figure it out. Thank you in advance!

This answer is based on Xbox play, but I am pretty sure that PS Play should work the same way.
First you need to have enough points to upgrade. Get near to the target tower and depress/click the Left Analog Stick (the Tower will likely have a indicator over it for this action if you have enough points). Press the Action button (the one that opens chests, etc) to confirm the upgrade. Formerly posted under AnExile_onthePath
