First build looking for tips

All types of criticism welcome. Roast me!

Spoiler
I reached mapping with my first character following a build guide, and now have the craving to make my own.

My goal was to make a character with high movement speed and evasion, while also having enough dps to solo delve. I also focused life leach and high life regen because I thought that might help with darkness runs. Two handed axe was the weapon of choice, with no real skills in mind to start. I did however want to avoid damage over time and elemental effects, focusing on raw damage output.

It should also be said I'm playing SSF so upgrades are limited.

After reaching level 48 and browsing the list of skills I think I've decided on Heavy Strike and Vaal Ground Slam.

Skill Chains:

Heavy Strike
Not too sure what support will add the most damage to this. I had considered using Faster Attacks Support and Melee Physical Damage Support instead but these seemed better.

Ground Slam
I am using the quest jewel for 50% increased angle for ground slam.

Utility
I was planning on using 2 50% Auras reserved with an enlighten support gem and a mana reservation node on the tree, along with a possible item stat as well. Will this leave me with enough mana to use my skills? The only time I seem short on mana is spamming heavy strike on a single target. Should I maybe go with a buff like Blood Rage instead of the 2nd 50%?

Reflect
Onslaught and Blind seem to trigger with Vengeance. Could anyone confirm this? Seemed like a good way to increase survive-ability.

Curses
Cast on damage taken seems like the way to go for curses. (Is the play to keep this gem at level 1 to keep the threshold low? Is it possible to lock a level or do I just have to ignore the notification on my screen?)
I'd really like to use oils for an extra curse. I don't think that's asking too much since I don't have many "necessary" stats on equipment.

Path of Building

This build is not meant to be optimized for maximum anything. The goal was to create a fast melee character that would be good for delving. The tree is planned for 100 but everything past level 89 is extra jewel slots. Note that the bottom right 4 point jewel was chosen over the 3 point jewel above it because the % evasion nodes stack better in the end game. Also note my tree is very different to this currently as I can't respec to duelist until later.

Let me know if you think my tree is whack!
I currently have 77 deaths in act 6, but I attribute that to my lack of skill lol.

Not a specialist at melee, but just wanted to say you can right click the gem lvl up notification and it will go away from your screen and go under your inventory panel (if you ever reconsider).
Thank you that's a very good tip!
