Blade Flurry does almost no damage

I've been using this guide to make a BF Assassin: [Removed by Support]

Am currently on level 52 with 2 daggers and my build has nearly no damage or survivability, or anything, really. I am using most of the gems mentioned in this guide already (Blood&Sand, Pride, Ancestral Protector, Whirling Blades), none of them do any significant damage whatsoever. The tooltip for the BF reports an average damage of around 700.

Moreover, BF is a hit-and-miss most of the time. Sometimes it either won't hit an enemy and the rotation isn't smooth enough to actually hit enemies efficiently. My mana is constantly being depleted and my character has practically no health either.

Is BF broken or am I doing something wrong? if so, why isn't my BF as good as the guide says?

Your character is set to "private" so nobody can inspect it and tell you how to fix it.

You need to go to account settings and untick make characters private option (it's on by default).

Anyway my first question would be: Do you have 6-link or at least 5 or 4 link on at least 1 piece of gear where you put Blade Flurry with correct support gems as said in the guide? (No idea why link was deleted by support, so I can't refer to that guide.)

If you have 3 auras but no support gems linked to your main gem, your damage will be horrible.

Even buying a 4-link gloves / boots / helm with no stats from a vendor is better than not having links for your main skill.

Second if you can't hit mobs, check your accuracy. Using low level precision (rank 1) and war banner are my go-to setup for levelling any accuracy-based character (melee or bow).

If you're running out of mana, just use a mana flask. Most melee builds will outline which talents you can pick to gain mana leech, that solves most problems for melee builds. But until you're high enough to reach it, it's ok to use mana flask.

If your character has no health, well, check if you have any items with life on it. You need to get items with life and resists (to reach 75% cap in each element) or you will die all the time. Doesn't matter how much life increase you pick from talents if there's nothing to increase in the first place. After you get gear with life, I'm pretty sure any guide will outline which life increasing talents you should pick for your build.
Done! My characters should be visible now.
No shit that you ain't dealing dmg, gem links are shit, Wep's are shit, tree is shit, you have low lvl . What more you need to understand why you ain't doing a crap ?
Looking at your character, it looks like you haven't linked everything yet and your gear isn't that great. Also you are still level 52 so level up, fix your links and get some gear that scales correctly.
You're nuts. I'm using the same guide and ripping through content with a lazy gem setup. Plague Bearer is also a huge boost to damage output. You should at least pick up Rylastha's Coil now.

For mana problems, they're usually resolved with a simple physical damage leeched as mana mod.

Phase run also buffs damage considerably if you read the description.

Accuracy can be fixed with a low level precision aura. You'll want to pick up the +30 int node on your tree for your pool.

You should have simply asked for help from guide's creator. They generally have no problem answering questions and helping people fix their builds.

I'm the creator of the build, the Nightblade Flurry Assassin.

You could have asked me in pm or in the thread directly.
I won't repeat what other have well explained.

Get Withering Steps and activate it as often as you can. With Nightblade support in the BF setup, you will have near perma-Elusive buff at max effect.
You can get one or two Widowmaker daggers, it's good for levelling.
On the tree, you can take the Mind Drinker notable (just east of starting point), that should solve most of your mana issues.

Here are some levelling PoB links of my char in Blight, with solo self-found gear :

Besides, you can check my Youtube channel, where you'll find dozen of videos of the build.
