GGG, requesting rough launch.

I wanna see the console forums blowing up with fits of rage. I'm sure you do too, it's for the best(entertainment). There's too few people complaining on here right now to piss people off with "git gud" posts, I need this.
Need a new signature, cuz name change. I dunno though. I guess this seems fine. Yeah, this is good.

*insert random get a load of this guy meme here

Trying reverse psychology is a really nice idea, and it made me giggle like a little school girl other than that im afraid this sentence, like your moma, comes with a giant

BUT

my guess is even if this league goes horrible (which it most certainly will if just because of the ye old good-bad league cycle) people won't complain that much anymore unless it's their first league because it is a bit disheartening reporting gamebreaking issues and getting most likely no response or something like "oh we know it's broken but we're working on fixing it the next decade or two".

I expect that most Console players will have too many other "distractions" to worry about the quality of the League Mechanics (what happens with Forced Stand Still comes to mind for example). Typically, I have found that play deteriorates at League Launch and then slowly recovers. This could happen just because Player numbers tend to surge, then taper off again. But there are usually other factors in play like that new stuff (designed by PC centred Devs) can be awkward on Console, or even buggy. And hey, would it be a Launch if one or two existing fixes didn't inadvertently get undone in the process? Fortunately for the mid and lower tiers of Players, the lags and stuff tend to rear their heads in Mapping and so the better/faster levellers among us get to "enjoy" it all first. I expect that it is all driven by having a game designed on PC, for PC, coupled with a tight budget for the Console Team (and yet you will find Posters on the main forums carping about the unhelpful influence of Console on Design). My impression is that we seem to be in an endless porting situation.

But lest there be any doubt, I am looking forward to Blight. I have just learned to temper my expectations.

I'm sure it will be full of bugs like always. But it only needs to hold my attention till Borderlands 3 release. Then in a month after we get some fixes, I will give it another shot.
