Start of a 100% crit chance build?

Alright, let's see if I've done the math correctly:

So the base formula is:

Critical Strike Chance = (Base Critical Strike Chance + Additional Critical Strike Chance) * (1 + Increased Critical Strike Chance)

My idea would include Void Battery *2, so Base Critical Strike Chance = 8.00%

I would run as an assassin with Deadly Infusion, Assassin's Mark, and Increased Critical Strikes Support, so (assuming gems are only level 20) Additional Critical Strike Chance = 2.00 + 2.50 + 1.90 = 6.40%

As for power charges, I'd be looking at: 3 (base) + 1 (Deadly Infusion) + 3 (passive nodes) + 2 (Void Battery *2) + 2 (Precursor's Emblem *2) = 11 power charges

Main skill would be Power Siphon, which has an inherent +20% increased critical strike chance per power charge, so Increased Critical Strike Chance = 11 * (40 + 20) (power charges with Power Siphon) + 100-130 (Void Battery *2) + 88 (Increased Critical Strikes Support) = 848-878%

Ultimately, we'd be looking at Critical Strike Chance = (8.00 + 6.40) * (1 + 848-878%) = 14.40 * 849-879% = 14.40 * 8.49-8.79 = 122.26-126.58%

OR

If you exclude Increased Critical Strikes Support, Critical Strike Chance = 12.50 * 760-790% = 12.50 * 7.60-7.90 = 95.00-98.75%

OR

If you exclude Assassin's Mark, Critical Strike Chance = 11.90 * 849-879% = 12.50 * 8.49-8.79 = 101.03-104.60%

OR

If you only use 1 Void Battery, Critical Strike Chance = 14.40 * 739-754% = 14.40 * 7.39-7.54 = 106.42-108.58%

Assuming I've done the math correctly, I've overcapped on crit chance with barely any gear or passive skill tree points, which leads me to believe that you could effectively use Opportunistic to be immune to reflect.

Can anyone confirm the math and whether this build would even be worth exploring?

Crit cap is easy with assassin. Remember you also have a crit flask and a craft for up to 80% increased crit chance on any magic flask.


Take note, that the crit chance on void battery is only for attacks with the weapon. Frenzy/Kinetic Blast/etc....Spells have their own base crit chance on the actual Gem.

Example.
Ice nova has a base crit chance of 6.

Spells do not use the weapons crit chance at all.

I suppose it's a bit moot to be theory crafting 3 days before a big patch.
