Soul Gain Prevention question

when does it start?
are you considered in "soul gain prevention" while the vaal skill is active, and therefore cannot gain any souls. or is it only the period once the skill is complete, but before it can gain souls again? Last bumped on Sep 1, 2024, 3:57:07 PM

After you use it. You can see red chain on the skill icon indicating this

You can't get souls while it's active, so it's a part of soul gain prevention time

You can't gain souls while you're at maximum charges either, right? Is this also considered "soul gain prevention"?

Not sure, but I don't think that counts. You could basically have 100% uptime on this by just equipping a vaal skill and not using it.
