Risen Vaal Advocate Spectre Question

Hi,
I want the lightning version of the Risen Vaal Advocate Spectre
I go into a Vaal Outpost in my mine, i desecrate, i find Risen Vaal Advocate corpses, I raise them.

They never seem to be the lighting ones.
(I read that there are 3 types)

Have I just had some bad luck?

Is there a trick to getting the lightning using ones?

How do you know the one you raised is a physical, fire or lightning? Please help!

Not sure if this is considered reviving a dead thread, but I* can only tell once you've 'Spectred' it. In combat look at the skills, in AFK look at the hands. There are 4 types, if you summon them all and focus on the hands you'll be able to tell them apart in no time.

You can only tell after it's raised, unless you can see it properly before you killed it.

You can tell by the glow on the hands.

the easy way is to desecrate raise 1 . if its wrong one take off gem to kill it and repeat till u get one u want then take it back to hideout an d desecrate to get a bunch of the same one.

When I go back to the hideout, the Vaal Risen Advocate (VRA) raised are random again; this is due to the "spectre bank" that GGG introduced in 3.25: https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Desecrate#Spectre_bank

So, the way I did it (in 3.26) is once I found a lightning VRA, I went to random areas and desecrate different monsters until I raised 9 other distinct corpses. It may be handy to write down the corpse names so you don't accidentally raise the same ones. After that then I know my lightning VRA is the 10th (and last) slot in the pool, so I can guarantee a lightning one whenever I see a VRA corpse.
