Seems like a good move, perhaps the earlier rumour about D4 aka project fenris(''darker'' like D2) is real after all, although i don't believe anything until i see it this transfer is interesting nonetheless.

I wouldn't mind a Dark souls style diablo, it fits thematically.
However I dont really trust blizz to execute it properly their big thing is accessibility and mass markets now days and those things are not really what souls was all about I dont see any any key!

" Diablo Souls game would be neat. But is that what Diablo fans want. I beat the answer is No. Diablo has been a 3d isometric ARPG from the beginning. This is what a drew people into the game and this is why people stick with it. Diablo 4 should be this ARPG style. New moves, new areas, new characters. Now they could introduce a whole other Diablo Souls game afterwards or alongside Diablo 4. Cause to not do a new Diablo ARPG they would be doing the same thing they did last year. Just in a different way. "Hey here is the game you have enjoyed for the last 22 years and now we have changed it to a 3rd person game and taking out the loot grind and made it 8x harder than anything else you are prepared for" Yeah, not going to fly with a good majority of the fans. " Dear God I hope not. I hope he had some sense to have that put in his contract that he would not be on any Mobile projects. And that if he was ever put on a mobile project he would be able to quite and still get full payment for his entire contract. But who knows, maybe he was hired for Mobile, he was part of the Gwent Card game the came out, maybe they are working on a new card game. Throw enough money at someone and you can get them to anything. But I can't see that either though as they are cutting ties with Hearthstone. Only time will tell. |
