herald of agony pathfinder
scaling the herald itself, clears any content, is hc viable, can be played as any class
videos of various kills (some taken before i finalized my gear): https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKwmC_N0IGNPPL56cLex857Bd8I9ahJRu pros: large ehp pool (8-10k instant ehp) literally any content in game (literally any map mod or combination of map mods) can carry groups relatively cheap to start with cons: physical damage hurts curse effectiveness limits your damage gear:

currently using much cheaper alternatives: and other gear i've stopped using, you could honestly play this with a tabula and a bunch of 1c rares herald of agony scales extremely well with gem levels so +levels on bow is nice using bow cause range is a massive advantage helm enchant is very nice to have but not a necessity unless you want to run another 35% aura (i do but only for uber elder) gluttony allows us to have L/MGoH on everything in game except the goddess as a map boss, which is helpful for sustaining jewels get life/attack speed/minion movement speed against uber elder i swap boots to a kaom's roots to deal with the elder slow is this gear optimized? not really but it works for me, but a +1/+1/+1 bow preferably on a 1.5 aps base is BiS gems

herald of agony - damage on full life - minion damage - vile toxins - empower - pierce if you can't afford empower, you can use minion speed instead, swap pierce out for vicious projectiles for single target where all your power is, keeping up virulence is crucial as it gives a lvl 20 agony crawler: 2580 average phys damage on hit 120% inc attack speed 760% inc damage lvl 21 agony crawler: 2900 average phys damage on hit 160% inc attack speed 800% inc damage lvl 28 agony crawler (max?): 6440 average phys damage 160% inc attack speed 920% inc damage dunno the exact base stats such as if it has "base" damage with no stacks or it's exact aps, but 40% of the phys is converted to chaos and it easily hits ~2.0 aps at max stacks tornado shot - gmp - poison - faster attacks - withering touch - chain/barrage your poison tool, not using CA or toxic rain because we scale almost 0 damage on the tree itself, you could but you lose the ability to shoot around corners and have less hits per shot/second especially against single targets, barrage is a good swap for chain against single targets poison gives 60% chance to poison, having herald active gives 20%, and you get 20% on tree, essentially everything is about getting/keeping up virulence everything else is up to you, if you want more auras, golems, blink arrow, cwdt, warcries etc. passive skill tree:

your last points are just jewels and more life, if you do not plan on killing shaper/uber elder/bosses, you can pick up mind over matter and mana nodes as you have ~60% mana unreserved and a mana pool of 2-2.5k, because we're using gluttony you should always have mana this is especially useful in delves because even if mobs cannot take damage, they can still be hit allowing you to heal in the dark, and since they mostly do not have curse resistance you always get the full heal values we do not need much/any damage on tree because of how much increased the gem itself gives, instead we want to make ourselves as tanky as possible so we can keep firing bandits: kill pantheon: up to you really, i like araakali/ralakesh why pathfinder? honestly i just played CA pathfinder to start the league and just decided to respec to see how this would do, this could honestly be played as any class, pathfinder has nice qol with flasks and slower virulence dropping, but this could be played as any ascendancy class Last edited by fsemilia#4909 on Sep 14, 2018, 4:20:04 PM Last bumped on Sep 14, 2018, 4:16:36 PM
