When the gem levels up, it says that the "effect" of the aura increases, but what exactly part of the skill gets increased? The reduced cold damage taken? The duration? The radius?

On the gem it said: "Nearby Enemies' Cold Resistance is Ignored by Hits"
Are spells also counting as "Hit"? Or only attacks? And against bosses: Is it more helpful to have vaal impurity of ice or Elemental Equilibrium? Or in other words, do they have more than 50% resistance? Thanks FipsDieGrille www.twitch.tv/marloss_live
