I used it as a panic button on my Obliteration wander from about level 16 to mid 60s until I found Vaal Power Siphon. Surprisingly it scales pretty well without very much investment and really feels good to use. The worst part about the gem is that regular Blight is such a terrible skill that you'll almost never be able to justify using more than a couple links on it. I don't mind dedicating a 4L specifically to a vaal skill, but it feels bad knowing I'll never be able to see it at its full potential.
Still, I'm tempted to have a crack at making a cwc Blight character. I've never done one and I can think of a few fun combinations to make it not suck as much. |
