" Not really possible. It's either they insert a delay where your actions are sent up to the server and then the actions only occur when your client gets the confirmation that the server received it, which is terrible for an ARPG like PoE. Or they keep it as is, where the actions happen in real time on the client while it sends them to the server, with the server having final say on where the player is and what they're doing. The latter can be improved upon by cutting down on the edge cases where the client and server get separated, as well as more quickly enforcing the server's decision on where the client should be. The former requires can be improved upon by forcing everybody to spend more money. The client would require better networking gear, including modems, routers, and cabling, as well as paying for increased bandwidth to minimize the chances of getting put on the waiting list. The server would have to pay for better networking gear, increased bandwidth, and more servers to handle the increased load. All of that, just because something little happens. For example: The packet of information telling the server that you used a movement skill got corrupted and never reached the server. Or said packet took a bad route and reached the server after another packet, which moved your character to a position where your jump didn't clear whatever wall it clipped. In short, it's not going to be fixed entirely, ever. They can improve upon it, but they cannot eradicate it. |

" The real fix for this is better pathing. If you have good crisp pathing most of the issues where it randomly runs you into a wall and doesn't notice it for three more movement skills will go away to a great extent. |
|
" Well keep in mind it took years to get those on the PC so there you go. |
