Evasion in PvP(Entropy system demonstration)

77k eva vs 4k accuracy + 95% crit chance in comments i said, 77k eva makes 95% crit chance become 70% crit chance but i watched again, its actually lower. also hit chance is like 2.5-3 hit, 1 miss, most of the time in enthropical manner, he hits 2-3 times in a row, the next one misses. 3000 accuracy + 92% crit chance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWFFItfjl8o&feature=youtu.be "You have great power. Conclusion? Is it different from what to be expected? Also the sample size is quite low.

everybody has to do their conclusion i think. my conclusion is unlike dodge, it can't be reliable defense layer. it can be only a thin layer of defense for builds which are already tanky. since its enthropical, most of the time, you gotta handle first or second shot so that 3rd you can evade.
it is only good for dealing crits in pvp, and reflect in pve. "You have great power. You're right to be proud. It's unfortunate you have to die now, but I will honor you with 45% of my strength." Last edited by Rupenus#5905 on Jul 1, 2017, 6:38:36 AM

As I mentioned yesterday, there's a big difference between dodge and evasion. Dodge is pretty much like block, psuedo random and pretty much a weighted 2 sided dice. While evasion has some randomness to it in form of the first entorpy value which is rolled on first hit, between 0-99. After that it's basic math depending if its a hit or not(value over 100 or not, value is the first entropy + your caclulated evade chance based of 1-a/(a+(b/4)^0.8)). That's also why stacking evasion after a certain ammount it's not really worth for just defense, if you stack it for other things like QoTF then sure, but keep in mind just due to a really high evasion rating doesnt mean you dodge a lot.
Let's say 4000accuracy and 50000 evasion rating, you'd have a 32% chance to evade, at 75000 you'd have 39% and at 25000 you'd have 21% chance to evade. Also as I said yesterday, a lot of people know that crit checks twice, but why? A critical hit is evaded on a separate random roll and will not affect this entropy value. This entropy system is made so that you evenly get hits and misses over an average ammount of attacks. Which means if you've evaded 3 attacks in a row with 50% chance to evade you'll most likely take a hit the next attack where with dodge, you can dodge 3 attacks and can just dodge the next one as well. Dodge rolls per attack and is not dependent on previous rolls, but evasion is Calculator helps a lot! Edit: Chance to evade attack with evasion and dodge stacking is iirc 1-(1-EvadeChance)x(1-DodgeChance) where dodge chance is a number from your sheat and evade chance is calculated using the forumula i mentioned above, where a = attackers accuracy and b = your evasion rating It's hard to remember what you have forgotten ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why are police looking for missing people? None of them were missing last time I saw them Last edited by Tommie_Sjukskriven#7744 on Jul 1, 2017, 7:33:15 AM
