Searching for a Marauder/Duelist PVP Build

Hello,I am a newbie in PVP.PVP is really interesting and I totally hooked on it,but it is frustrated that being raped by the others.So,any strong PVP build recommend for marauder/duelist using Starforge、Atziri’s Disfavour or Hegemony’s Era?Thank you!

you can make a glass cannon very high attack speed/max aoe lacerate build with starforge. w/ voidheart.

describe what kind of builds are "wrecking" you so we can talk according to that input.

Stack AOE, Stack Attack speed, use Starforge/Disfavour + Voidhearth.

Starforge is nice for pve and smashing newbs, but you'll be 100% phys/chaos damage. With everyone being either CI or pathfinder (or both), all they gotta do is throw on deaths door boots and you're pretty hard countered. It's rough out there for melee atm and having an ele swap for the more experienced/counter players is important.

lacerate damage is pretty high with abyssus and as glass cannon though.

Think I've been pointing that out for years as a melee player.

Glass cannon doesn't mean shit if you're ranged and have the power to 1-2 shot something nearly instantly. It's only an issue if you're also facing a ranged build that can match or best your range. Plus most peoples perception of glass cannon are skewed pretty badly. Glass cannon dies as fast as it kills, in this game that's usually not the case especially if you're talking "true" melee.

Starforge is shit in sarn 100% of time, you better use disfavor there.

One of the reason is guardian+bramble on cwtd, You will 1 shot yourself on it.
Even with lacerate, the guardian bearer just need to leap slam at melee distance and you killyourself. Only if you could get 100% chaos conversion but then you can t kill CI.

there this guy using very op starforge+lacerate and very high attackspeed +poison but once I used guardian+ he just was killing himself 100% of the time (and now in essence there are boots with poison immunity i heard...)

+ Immortal call users could get killed with added fire damage but with starforge you can t kill them until IC disapear.

So IMO disfavour>starforge.

for killing "friends" i'm sure starforge is better. with disfavour there is no viable skill in the game that you can kill "friends"(friends = king of the forest abuser, some puncture miner... etc etc)

here "friends" are non pvp viable people who are using pve builds.

also, he could swicth to melee totems maybe.
