Question about unwavering and blind vs crit

So from what I know being attacked by blinded people does nothing (ie same as when they are not blind) when you have unwavering because you cannot evade. I'm assuming attack critical rate is also not effected if you have unwavering?

having UW makes you slightly more vulnerable to receiving critical attacks because by grabbing UW you give up the innate 5% chance to evade that everyone has even with 0 evasion rating

Thanks for the reply but I knew that, sorry if I worded it bad, I meant solely in the case of unwavering, do enemies being blinded make a difference? For now I'm assuming no since chance to evade is still 0%

With Unwavering Stance,

Blind
Enfeebles accuracy reduction
Evasion

All play no role in your survival or chance to avoid a non spell attack be it crit or non crit.

Meaning you just gave the other guy 100% accuracy versus you at the cost of stun immunity.


If you've taken Unwavering stance you want to stack as many defenses as you possibly can because you're getting hit every single time. Dodge still works, Block still works and any reduction of damage received or reduction to a players damage will still work.

It's typically better to put 35% stun avoidance suffix on your helm, with heart of oak and/or other passive/notables on your tree. Nowadays, there are even boot enchants you can use that make UWS not worth it. And of course in pvp there's the ol' chayula swapout
