I'm out, time to take a break for now.

As most of us feared, Ascendancy was the last nail in the coffin for pvp in this game.
I have zero fun to play and I don't see any changes happening soon (despite what the devs promised me in the Q/A and PM).
Despite the expansion being brand new we never had so few players invested in it and in those still there, there is too many hypocrites refusing to admit wich part of the game is broken because they want to keep their unfair little advantage over other players wich ultimately hurt the whole metagame and themself.

I have no fun one shotting people (it remind me of little kids stomping ants at this point) but I also thought utterly ridiculous the idea of playing a sub optimal build when I have the knowledge and the currency to build what I know is effective. it's a paradox who make me really sad.

It's not only the pvp part, the pve is now incredibly easy. Really it's like playing Diablo 3 at this point (I'm not even playing the perandus league but it seems even worse there). I had high hopes for the labyrinth , beeing a massive rogue like fan,but in the end it was also disappointing and extremely easy once you get the hold on it.

I find myself logging into the game by pure habit without enjoying any of it. I like to be challenged by games, maybe I reached the end of what this one has to offer. Also I'd like to focus more on my professional and personal life in the coming months.

I wish I was strong enough to throw away my gear and delete my chars but I invested hundreds of hours into them so I just gonna let them rot for now.

I'll keep checking from time to time but don't expect me to post as much as I was doing.
If anyone want to keep talking with the devs, I recommend sending PM to Nick and Dan. They are both great and seems to really want to do something about the current state of pvp. Unfortunately I'm sur their hands are tied for now.

So Farewell Exiles, I hope you still can find some fun in what the game has become. I myself can't do it anymore.

Keep all your stuff. Unless you have a new 90% facebreaker with temp chains on hit. You can lend that to my sparker righteous lightninger. Everyone in sarn arena will be extra joyful to experience such things.

It's an ARPG that has no real PvP scene, so you're at that point where everything became trivial and easy. You "beat" the game in a sense. I'm sure you had great times, but moving on isn't a bad thing.
