GGG do you even read this?

Right now there is a sparker in Sarn arena (100% crit pen inquisitor), try walking around. You can't see any sparks because of projectile speed bug, but you can't walk around without being insta-gibbed. You will just randomly die every 3-5 seconds. Nobody can even get within a bow's projectile range to shoot at them as they're two thirds of the way across the arena behind 2 separate obstacles. Sarn arena is non-functional right now (in case this is the first you've heard of this which I doubt)

They don't check discussion, but they've told us to put everything in the pvp feedback thread and that they do check that from time to time, but pve is priority. I personally don't see anything changing until EOY. Until then just use my current tree-ish, belt of deceiver, do p2l/light pen/wed or p2l/added fire/wed/Dyadian Dawn belt leap slam so their infinite AG doesn't 1shot you, and start Mario hopping away lol

But I'm sure GMs such as yourself could post on feedback and they might listen :)

its not about "nerf nerf". its about "balance balance, pls do not abandon pvp".
Everything got buffed, pvp became 'oneshot fest'.

the fact - any arpg can have successful pvp. the problem - ggg focus on new content development and never look back.
Asside from the monster power creep brought to us by Ascendancy, balancing PvP in the right direction is not that hard.

PvP is plagued by 3 thing :
- Secondary Damages (need to be removed entierly)
- Overtuned Crit (need to get diminish return)
- Overtuned stacked Traps (need to be greatly reduced)

There is a bunch of other stuff like DoT and Aoe Shotgun who'll need to be corrected as well but if those 3 things are fixed, PvP would be a LOT more Healthier.

- secondary damage should stay untouched until aegis aurora exist.
- crit (and any other damage per hit buffs) already have diminish returns in pvp (just look at pvp penalty formula graph its a damn hyperbola)
- any overlapped damage source is a counter-intuitive pvp damage buff and should be removed (i.e. LA or EA shotgun, multitrap, duration spells stacking etc.)

Current devastating DoT is just a secondary effect of global damage buff. it will be gone once they fix damage scaling.

I have a 75/75 legacy Aegis Aurora Duelist blocker and I got shreded by Bcr + Leo mod, this argument is invalid. Immortal golem builds deals no dmg at all and can be entierly ignored.

PvP dmg Formula should be reworked, the simple fact that elemental damages are more effective because you are supposed to have better protection against those is an absolute non-sense nowadays (Inquisitor entirely bypass those and you can get up to 65%+ penetration from tree and gear without any penalties).

Secondary damages are way too effective for what they do. Bypassing 3 kind of defenses for free is just too good making a huge life pool the only possible defense against it wich limit immensly the pvp theorycrafting.
I wouldn't mind if the skills having this effect were weak but the 3 most problematics ones (EA, LA and MI) are all ranged, can scale greatly AND shotgun. If it's not broken, I don't know what it is.

This as also nothing to to do with me having a High blocker, as said earlier you don't need secondary damages to wreck this kind of build. I wouldn't mind giving up on this char entierly if it was fixed in the near futur.

Offscreen + Secondary damages makes melee absolutly worthless. Not only you can't reach your opponent, but you can't defend against him either.

The funny thing is that everytime this subject is brought on, the EA crowd is just crying out loud to keep their broken build without realizing this mechanism is hurting the whole pvp meta for way too long.

But you know what, fine. I now have a LA of my own and it's the best EA hunter I've ever had. As Rup did I abuse the shit of Secondary Damages and turn your Frost Wall against you. Fighting cheese with cheese, I guess that's what we call balance now.
