SO THIS THING ACTUALLY HAS AN END LOLOLOLOL

Was doing pretty well until I RIB'd at Gravicius. Probably would have been top 10 rangers if I didn't rush like a retard :C

Definitely not doing that next time. Also, not wasting everything to git some Lightning Resistance rings, but trying to get a balance between Lightning and Fire resistances next time, haha.

Got lucky with some 'gud' stuff this time.

but i still managed to get second duelist somehow

Hit some damn nice rings before Gravicius.

And all the fire res~

Didn't get the chance to use these though!

How the fuck did I miss a box with 3 ex, WED and flask?

I was still on lvl 6 flasks in an lvl 20 zone...

Hah, same.
I didn't get terribly far (Internet was flaky; disconnected several times) but it was really cool seeing the unique items!

Got armor/fast casting/reduced mana gloves as a witch. It was an interesting tradeoff - well worth it, but I ran out of mana at some awkward times!

My only note of dissatisfaction would be that in all these races, a very aggressive playstyle seems to be demanded. You might say aggression is obviously a must for anyone who wants to compete, but the vast majority of players do not wind up in the top few ranks and still find it worthwhile to play, even if only to experience the alternate game modes.

It would be very nice to allow more diversity of builds and let people approach things the way that they find fun. For example, I have yet to see a premade gear race where it isn't a total pain to play as a summoner, because they never give you the gear or the orbs to buy the appropriate gems a summoner would have definitely gotten by that level.

In another race, you COULD farm the orbs, swap everything around, and go to act 1 to buy the appropriate gems, though that puts you behind in terms of time. In Descent it's not an option: though you can grab whatever gear you want, it didn't seem like we were able to get the gems for other classes. It would be nice if every time we came across another chest we had the option to trade 2 gems that we don't want for 1 gem that we DO want.

Great event overall; I just wish it had more leeway for quirky builds.
