[HoTW Submission] - Dark Lush Jungle

Hello. I'm sharing my 1st hideout.

It is based on Tora's Lush hideout (level 7) and uses assets mostly from Catarina, Tora and few others.

Themed to be a dark jungle with some rocks, ruins and one overgrown room.
My previous was at Catarina's and I did like the dark from it, but since I'm a fan of nature, Tora's was a better fit. Thanks to few very high trees (from Catarina) shadows make the center area quite dark.

Main idea for center was to have everyting useful in one place and in minimal distance:
waypoint, stash, map device, then masters on left (Catarina, Zana, Tora, Elreon), and also most crafting tools on right (somewhat hidden).
Waypoint and map device are covered with crypt rubble and den large rock, since the original look didn't fit my needs at all.

There are many statues, those shiny in center are lit with different colors (teal from Catarina, orange from torch, blue from waypoint) and have fronts covered with tombstones so the base isn't visible (too bright).
Further up there is a standing lamp (lits the river), hanging lamp in rocky area, another standing lamp near bridge and few different in the overgrown room.

That twerking texture! I really hate those. Takes usually an extra hour to figure out the correct decoration combination. On some occasions I just had to give up on my idea :/

can you tell me the exact name of the caterina trees you used for the dark atmospheric shadows? how many did you have to put to make the lighting darker?

I want a lush HO but the daylight keeps me from liking it. i want a shady dark forest, which is exactly what you made :)

looks like a lot of points spent though ;)

Here is an image with them and locations:


Actually not many:
2x Decorated Trees (76000 favour, Catarina), variant 1 (has 3 trees)
1x Decorated Tree (8800 favour, Catarina), variant 1 (just 1 tree)
2x Thick Trees (44000 favour, Catarina), variant 1 (4 trees) near shore, 2nd I put somewhere else so 1 is okay
Not sure at which level Cat started selling them, I think 6 or 7, Wiki seems outdated.
Those are quite tall and good too:
3x Tree (20000 favour, Vorici), variant 1 (1 tree)

Those are the biggest, best for the purpose of casting shadow. I rotated them and placed so that any holes in shadow are covered.
Rest is just few trees/palms from Tora for jungle feel.

There are more such trees here in other places.
But yeah I got Catarina and Tora on level 7 probably, when I had all the trees for this.
