GGG Answered my question about PvP, there is hope guys !!!!!

Are you guys planning to do something about the actual and future state of pvp? Ascendancy will bring some incredible buffs to our characters and the community are worried it will turn into a one-shot fest again and make some spec less interesting (CI would be crit 100% of the time using the Assassin subclass for example) and some would be way too strong (Crit templar ignoring resistances).

Some core team members want to spend some time improving PvP balance. This is a good goal, though we want to make sure that PvE content comes first.

Rejoice everyone, my question has been answered wich mean Ascendancy may not turn into the apocalyptical disaster we all beleive it will be.

Sorry, but I shan't be holding my breath....

Especially when it takes 2 days for a mod to notice a request for a thread lock, or the total ignoring of an LLD passive node amount issue between PVP only char's. and self-leveled char's. Or that most PVP only char's. can't enter Sarn arena.

You know the saying "wish in one hand, shit in the other and see which fills first"? I'm tired of continuously washing my hands....

As i said to Fanon, they could have totally ignored this question but still they took the time to put it in their thread in front of everyone.

im sure they care about pvp, i think in order to take attention we should raise our voice in reddit too. and act as a whole.

since about pve there are shit tons of complaints, they cant find proper time to fix known broken stuff for pvp.

this made me laugh a lot:

It's been over a year since leo. And leo still lies to me Everytime the daily is in sarn arena. "You can complete this mission with a pvp only character". If they can't bother themselves to fix this, or even just edit leo's txt so he doesn't lie. Well I'm not holding my breath.

I am very impressed with how GGG handles most things. But not all things. They made us think pvp was going to be something they were going to support and develop. I jumped in with both feet and it's the most fun I have ever had in poe. Then they left pvp to rot, leo is still a liar, and they don't seem to care.

more than 1 year still not solved, isnt common that newcomers or supporters waste time running and creating additional accounts only for test LLD.

Wow GGG make the effort to answer a questions about a difficult subject that they usually avoid at all cost and what are the community doing. Spite in their face, no wonder nothing is done here.

ive been putting efforts in this game for almost 2 years, farming, theorycrafting, testing things, spent billions of regrets. for what? im tired to wait for something to happen. if they cared about pvp they had to do something long time ago. when pvp community had like more than 100 full pvp dedicated ppl. not now that there are 4-5 ppl left. its pointless now. goodbye ggg, time to make new mtx to gain more money unitl its too late.

I must admit that perhaps my cynicism was misplaced, after sending PM's to 3 different GGG employees and getting responses after only a few short hours. And having Bex reply to my thread.

I am now more hopeful as well!
