Hosting PvP Event - Win Prize's

Hi,

I would like to 'Host' some PvP events to players in POE. I have come to a point in POE where I don't play much, but I'd like to give people a chance to "WIN" some Prize's.

Prize's will be items from POE.

Rules:
How will I host the PvP Events: The Events will be held in Act 3 Merc, where there is a open arena.

How will I bracket players: To start off, depending on the amount of people that join Example: 10 players. I'll ask everyone to choose a number between a number I have in my head. Then the two people that are closest to the number will be the 1st bracket for the 1st pvp fight. Then same concept with the next two people closest to the number. Then I'll place each person where they belong for each bracket. Then From there its easy to see you wins or lose's for the next higher bracket list.

How many Fights?: Each player will battle the player they are against for best out of 3 wins. Then who ever is the winner move's up to the next round/bracket.

Why not use a Number/Generator for choosing players: Honestly I feel like that is to much work when I can just do it simple using paper & keeping track of who wins.

Entering Events Require Buy-ins: The buy-in price will be cheap. I will not be making profit off this, only half of what the total cost of items are worth in price. Meaning what ever the current buy-ins are, I've already check'd the price's of the items u'll win. Also, meaning I've added the total cost of the winning's.

Buy-ins min players don't reach limit: If not enough people join, I'll Lower the player count, but the buy-ins mite increase or I'll just find new items & have different buy-in price's.

When you pm me, please use your current char name for that event or give me the name of the char u'll be using for the event. So there is no confusion.

Sounds questionable and "unprofessional" at best.

Guys who enjoy pvp (and especially the ones who would win the prizes) dont really care about prizes that you can provide. Just skip them if you individually want to make a tournament.

Some tournaments could be cool though.
