A couple of questions about a mace for LLD PvP

So, i've decided to start farming a bit for LLD PvP gear and since i want to use a hammer/mace, i farmed up a ceremonial mace with the level requirement of 28.

I rolled it with alterations untill i got two nice LLD mods with best roll to boot:

"+1 to socketed melee gems" (highest +1 roll for melee weapons up to level 28)
and
"+11% reduced enemy stun treshold" (highest reduced stun treshold roll for weapons up to level 28)

Being quite happy with these rolls i regaled it and got a further "adds 4-9 phys damage" roll on it, so it currently looks like this:
Now, here's some questions.

*How many affixes are possible on such a weapon by default (i'd guess six)?

*Given that the weapon has 2 good and one decent (imho) rolls on it, should i exalt it to add another "natural" affix on it before adding further bench mods?

*i'm planning to get Elreon's multimod on it at some point and then add *+ x - y% damage" and "xy% faster attacks".
Since i'm guessing that such a weapon has 6 possible affix slots and that his multimod takes up a slot as well, that would mean that if i already exalted it and had 4 "natural" affixes on it, i'd be only able to give the multimod and another single affix on the weapon, is that correct?

*if the above assumption is correct, would i be better off spending the exalt on the multimod and just adding these two affixes from the bench?

+melee skill mod is a total waste for melee, I'd reroll. Secondly, make sure ur farming ilvl 36 to yield highest rolls. The easiest route to an OP melee wep is Prismweave unique belt + 1 whetstone + weapon traded to vendor. You'll get back a vicious roll (90-109 phys %) and try to regal hybrid phys %/attack rating. You can master mod something like 14-22 flat phys on lvl 28 weaps so that roll is also a very low tier.

I did, but i seem to have misunderstood and/or overlooked some things. Oh well, i thought i had a pretty nice mace there, guess not. Thanks for the info anyway.

Ceremonial has most damage but is the slowest, war hammer having less damage but more speed.
