Block/evasion is OP in PvP, yet we get a green gem for a solution.

Block/evasion was so OP in PvP GGG had to actually scramble to release a PVP specific gem to actually give people counter-play to it.

Well guess what? Without that one gem, block/evasion is STILL broken in PvP, so why is the gem skill green?

I personally do not use a green gem in my arc, so in order for me to go to the arena and not watch as all my spells do zero effect on people because of spell block/evade I have to

- spend 200 chromatics every single time I want to PvP on my main
- spend 30 exalt for a PvP specific replacement 6 link armor to swap out

or

Have zero effect on anyone who has spell block/evasion which seems to be the vast majority of PvPers.


This is a broken system and it needs addressed. One thing GGG can do to solve this is make the block reduction gem a prismatic gem.

Can we please make PvP available to more than the top .0001% of players? Most people do not even own a 6 link, yet now you need a SECOND 6 link just to incorporate a MANDATORY gem to even begin to compete.

I could go into WoW PvP with my PvE gear. I did not do as well because I died fast.

Yeah, if PoE is putting all this work in for PvP just so the top .000001% can enjoy it then they will crash and burn.

If you don't want to spend thousands of EX to be top pvper then join LLD, where proper build, gem selection, potting, and items can put you on the top shelf.

Evasion is worthless with RT (and most pvpers will have high roll evasion chest if they are going evasion character)

Spell ignore evasion too

and

Block/ Spell block are already nerfed and to get them max you have to pay a lot and sacrifice your High damage.

PVP Master has the mod of Block reduction


You have to pay well if you want to PVP otherwise stick to PVE till you get good items
