How is Explosive Arrow in LLD?
Thinking about giving season 2 a shot, though EA would be a fun build to try due to its one-shot potential (assuming its damage effectiveness isn't nerfed to the mantle).
Never done PvP before though. Could I reasonably expect to be able to land 3-5 charges on an enemy, or is the kiting/avoidance game a much bigger element? There's also wall explosions too for crowd control I guess. IGN: Ikimashouka, Tsukiyattekudasai, DontCallMeMrFroyo

EE atm is really good in pvp.-50 resistance and ele weakness curse is OP. I hav seen EA being used by Mrmagikboi and its really good especially if you get a +1 arrow on both quiver and bow. NerfExplosiPharoah Kappa

" Already with the nerf talk!! omg.... Naw I kid. Its so much fun to play. Its a much different style than HLD EA. IGN: Beardedwizzard

Sweet, thanks. Guess I will have to start working toward a +1 arrow quillrain. I'll probably end up throwing all my currency at it and hope it works (any sellers in Torment? lol), the rest looks somewhat accessible.
Also I might have an upper hand with this: Using it in PvE currently, but proccing EE with ice shot to get the temp chains chill double whammy seems good. IGN: Ikimashouka, Tsukiyattekudasai, DontCallMeMrFroyo

Getting there :)
Got super lucky, got the quill rain corrupt on my first try! IGN: Ikimashouka, Tsukiyattekudasai, DontCallMeMrFroyo

It was pretty garbage. 24% fire res would chunk me 500 damage with 5 charges. when capped (i am after all 3 reductions) it did like 150-200 damage every 5 charge blow.

It wasn't as OP as it once was, but it's still viable as proven by mrmagikboy.
I feel EA is in a good place right now in LLD, it stands a reasonably good chance versus all builds but can still be beaten by all builds. It's a mechanic that can be outplayed. | |
" Sure....lets all call it under-powered, that would be great! IGN: Beardedwizzard
