HotW Submission: The Ruined Tower (Album & Video!)

Here we find the crumbling, cobwebbed ruins of an ancient tower. Moss-covered statues are hidden between trees who count time in epochs. The skeleton of a dragon wraps around the outer edge of the tower ruins, and a supply wagon is nestled in the trees outside the main gate. Ahead, there's a bridge to the broken entrance of the main castle on the estate, which is filled with relics, statues, and spiderwebs of a disturbing size. The other entrance of the tower leads to a narrow path through the forest, which meets a river that feeds into a large lake. The end of the river is guarded by two stone sentinels, weapons drawn, and in their shadows by the lake shore huddle two exiles with their small child. The path curves back, following the vine-choked remains of another huge creature, until it meets a forgotten graveyard. On the other shore is a treasure stash hidden among skeletons and overgrown flowers and brambles. Ahead, the river's source is revealed, a waterfall which flows over a sacred statue. Other secrets are contained in this lost hideout, as well, for those who take the time to look...
