"cyclone" is probably the best melee skill in d2 :D
But seriously, I agree cyclone is a bit op in lld. Last edited by DiabloII#4634 on Jan 10, 2015, 11:50:11 AM

Cyclone + Block pen > all other 6L combinations

That's a prime example of how to not use Cyclone though
It's hard to remember what you have forgotten

" Smite is a better melee skill in Diablo2 for pvp. It beats Whirl Wind barbs given equal gear unless you dual wield a Doom for Holy Freeze. If you can namelock it also beats enigma summon/bone necros easier then Berserk. It also beats Druids because they have poor FHR. If you're good its the best melee skill. I don't know what level people PvP at anymore but I predict its pretty low and since everyone's hacked I can't imagine people know the inter workings of how things are good and why anymore. " I think there is still a pvp community in d2, not as big as 10 years ago, and the players are more skilled. Smite is better vs. opponents with max block. But in d2, it is very looked down upon if you build your character with max block. Another big advantage to use whirlwind is barbarian's high casting speed (fcr breakpoint). I no longer play the game, here is a really good (the best back in the day) "cyclone" player on EU. The skills he used here are very similar to heavy strike, cyclone and lightning warp. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTuix3gUvwI Comparing the pvp in both games, I really miss the "cleanness" feeling of each skill you use/cast in d2, maybe due to less desync since d2 is client side and poe is server side. But poe has a big potential, and it is the best ARPG game at the moment. Last edited by DiabloII#4634 on Jan 10, 2015, 11:55:27 PM

" lol :) my video I don't know who you are but thanks i really appreciated. I obviously totaly agree with you, seems like you know how d2 pvp works. I wish more ppl understand it. Anyway you won't explain years of pvp with words to people that never played it. Poe has so much potential, GGG should follow d2 mechanics imo. D2 pvp is a masterpiece, gameplay is unique. @MullaXul you are wrong. Pubs games are filled with hacked monkeys yes, it's pointless to even argue with them they don't understand basics, but old legit players still arround and private tvt/fpk still up. The level is BY FAR way better than before (pre 1.11), even during 1.11 - 1.13 pvp improved a lot, some new "tricks" came out (smite-foh swirl stun on hammerdin, double tele chainlocking, double tele blindspots... builds improved also : 174fcr rushing trapsin, 63fcr agressive bvc etc.) If old .11 players played d2 nowadays they would be surprised. Gameplay is way more agressive and some players are just "artists". Well, i went too far maybe haha but you'll get it anw. Oh yeah, smiters are peanuts in "endgame" pvp, you will never find in top clan a 4v4 setups with 1 smiter. Either, druid barb nec trap /// hdin zon barb nec other setups get destroyed, but you probably know it i guess. Even best smiters player (Marvel and co since you're american i guess) won't break this logic. I'm talking from Europe point of view anyway, maybe east/west is totaly dead (seems like from what i'v seen). DHA Last edited by DHA#6800 on Feb 9, 2015, 10:49:37 AM
