A guide has been posted here which covers general aspects and strategies of racing.

A summary of Time based events:

Timed based events are new types of event introduced in Race Season 9, they are designed to create a new kind of competitive environment where players compete not by character experience, but by their capabilities to progress through the game and complete specific objectives, such as killing bosses.

The boss required to be defeated for this race is: Brutus, located in The Upper Prison.

  • The time recorded is based from the beginning of the race, not when your character is created.
  • Characters will not appear on the ladder until they have completed the objective.
  • Characters are not required to have completed the time based objective in order to receive points for the other objectives, such as points awarded for reaching certain levels.
  • Characters who die after completing the objective, will still be counted for receiving reward points except for the level-specific prizes.
  • Points are awarded at the end of the race, do not delete your characters until they have been moved to the permanent leagues.

Molten strike from twilight strand!

but...

no red socket until upper submerged o_O

such insult

then went wrong way in lower prison.. eh :C
Playing with 70-80ms ping, which is causing long loading between zones,
resulting in 2-4 minutes disadvantage in 1 hour races.
(I was wrong, it wasn't a ping issue but something else on GGG side)
RNG dependant with Ranger man...

First try I died on the Strand, then I accidently sold my weapon and had to fist the living shit out of Zeds on the beach to get a weapon. At least Brutus droped this:

Fun Race at all!
Anyone know why I would have gotten 4 points for level 13 instead of 5?

Edit: NVM, I looked too quick and saw the 4 points for my Merveil race <blush>

Almost RIP'd in Prisoners Gate twice thanks to bad monster combos. First was that fiery devil dog which decided to team up with an extra damage rare Goatman, emptied all my pots and got away with about 2 life left. Next was the Giant Red Goatman with a pack of Blue Goatmen stomping all over my pretty head. Again, run away and manage to somehow survive with about 2 life points left. I really don't need that much excitement!

Overall, got my points so happy although again there was a real dearth of orbs out there as you can see from my mostly white gear.
