Clones inherit your stats and not like minions. Player has no damage with that allocated, thus clones have no damage as well.
Maybe a little snitching then, but the Saviour's reflections (which should be similar behaviour?) works with Ancestral Bond whereas VDS' clones don't.

A bit of PoE complexity at its finest as they should function the same. To me it sounds like either Saviour is bugged, VDS is bugged, or the inheritance is not the same and need GGG to explain the difference.

I don't know why you would need to use Ancestral Bond with VDS, but best of luck finding an answer.

Totems/traps/other proxies wouldn't work either if this was correct.
That's my assumed behaviour, hence the report. Also tested Frozen Legion since they're described as proxies on the Wiki.

If it's not a bug even some clarification would be nice.
Bump. This is more likely a consistency thing between what is considered a proxy and what isn't. If it's not a bug, clarification would be nice.
