Portal back to hideout no longer interactable from inside map

Context: Ran a map. Did some syndicate encounters inside the map. Opened portals to and completed the Syndicate Research Safehouse from inside the map. Killed the boss and cleared out more of the map. Ran the vaal side area inside the map. Portal back to hideout no longer functions. I can move the portal by consuming another portal scroll, but I cannot interact with it at all. I was able to exit the map by logging out of my character.

Having similar issues myself... annoying to have to log out every time
