grand heist slowmotion and latency issues

I was running a Grand Heist earlier when all of a sudden the game turned into a slowmotion picture show which made it unplayable. I had that happen a few leagues ago as well where grand heists sometimes just turned slowmotion and the latency was rising. This even happened without monsters or any kind of skill effect around.
